Taste and Quality

Five small vadas with rasam. Ate them dipped in rasam.
Vadas were fresh, tasted good, texture was great. They were similar to medu vadas, just smaller chunks of it.
Rasam was soury (sour tasting) liquid with a slight spiciness touch. It had few vegetables.
It was very different from the sambhar. It tasted good. Was a good change.
Rasam may not be everyone's cup of tea as it is sour in nature. Even for me i could only eat a portion of it that too with the vadas. Unlike sambar which I even drink the excess.
The white chutney had lot of grated coconut in it. But there was very little flavour (other than the coconut) to it which I have seen in other places.

Quantity

I was expecting batata vadas (atleast something similar to them or their size) because thats what was shown in swiggy menu of it.
What actually was delivered were small vadas.
Rasam and chutney were in adequate quantities.

Menu price

Rs 80 for 5 small vadas, chutney and rasam.

Packing quality

Wrapped in a newspaper as a secondary packing.  Though more packing may be better but the newspaper is not a very good choice due to it being printed with inks (which my stick to food).
Inside that a primary white paper wrapping which protected the food from the newspaper.
A standard brown carry bag as the outer packing.

Seems healthy.

Final verdict

A good change in taste from sambhar. Can be a breakfast or snack anytime.
